£500 Christmas Giveaway - TWIG

The Wemyss Improvement Group (or TWIG for short) were nominated by Catherine Fleming to receive her cheque to keep up the good work they do with the aim to make the village of East Wemyss a more pleasant environment for everyone.

The Wemyss Improvement Group are a group of 13 enthusiastic volunteers who are called the Twiglets of Wemyss, Catherine says they reminded her of the Wombles and they laughed at her suggestion of the Wombles of Wemyss. They are mostly retired people who are fortunate to still be very active, They won the Gold Award 2016 for Beautiful Fife.
